Recipe for a simple plantbased Kidgedee/Khichadi..same same...;-)

This dish is a wonderful little detox.





Put in a pot;

1/4 cup of basmati rice
1/2 cup of split mung beans
2 1/2 cup of water.

Low boil for 25 minutes.

add as it low boils:
a nice dash of olive oil

2 teaspoons of curry /massala powder and some seasalt while it simmers and stir well.

At the end add your choice green veggies,like green haricots, courgette, some spring onions, sesame seeds,

and offcourse cilantro..or..parsley...

and I like to eat it with with crispy baked tempeh ..

it's good and good for you..!!
